Uncle Pat always had a twinkle in his eye. He was so fun to be around and loved to Tease. He was a great Wyoming Cowboy. After they left Wyoming the had a 5000 acre Holt Ranch near Cameron Montana on the Madison River.

Services were held Saturday at the community Church Hall for W. D. "Pat" HOLT, WHO PASSED AWAY IN Ennis, Mont., last Wednesday, Rev. Calvin Elliott was in charge of the service.
"Pat" HOLT was born at Cheyenne Nov 21, 1888, the son of Thomas D. and Mary Lanne HOLT. He moved to Pinedale area in 1915 and in 1916 went to work on the P. W. Jenkins ranch near Cora. On Nov. 27, 1917, he was united in marriage to Fern S. HITTLE at Pinedale.
Mr. HOLT was elected sheriff of Sublette county in 1927 and retained that office until 1943. During this period he also ranched in the Boulder area and continued to ranch there until 1950 when he and his family moved to Ennis, Mont., where he was also engaged in ranching.
He leaves to morun his passing, his wife, Fern; two sons, Carl and Earl of Ennis, Mont.; one sister Mrs. Lee "Cora" Thompson of Williams Lake, British Columbia; as well as several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Pinedale Masonic Lodge and the Lodge held graveside services.
The Pallbearers were Carl Jorgensen, Bill Bloom, R. S. Carlson, Frank Korfanta, Kelly Wilson and Gene Pfisterer. Honorary pallbearers were Milford Steele, Gladwon Jensen, Curt Feltner, D. C. Carson and Thurston Doyle.
Out of town relatives here for funeral included Mr. And Mrs. Carl HOLT and Dave of Ennis, Mont., Mr. and Mrs. Earl HOLT, Gary, Vicky, Ronnie and Jimmie of Ennis; George HITTLE of Worland, Dennis HITTLE of Rock Springs, Mr. And Mrs. R. L. 'Buzz' DAVIS of Dillon Mont., Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. HITTLE of Salt Lake City, Mrs. John Infanger, Mrs. John Woodard and Edward Woodard all of Jackson.
