Isoria Ann Kelly was born January 17, 1868, in Shelby county (sic), Iowa, and departed this life March 20, 1940, after a long illness.
She was united in marriage to Swithen (sic) Edwards on January 4, 1888, and was privileged to enjoy 52 years of devoted companionship with him. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss, three children: Guy, of Otis, Colorado; Mrs. Glee Goodger of Belleville, Kans., and John of the home. She also leaves seven grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.
In 1890 she was converted in the Baptist faith, and although she was not a consistent church goer during the late years, she exemplified the Christian Spirit by her Good Samaratin (sic) acts. She was a great lover of nature and loved her home and family and found her greatest happiness in laboring for their comfort.
Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Elmer R. Peterson. Interment was made in the Chester cemetery (sic).
