Eileen (Mitchell) Adams, 56, died Friday, December 25, 2009 at the Tobey Hospital in Wareham unexpectedly. She was the wife of Dennis V. Adams (Ret. USN).
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. Mitchell and Mary (Hart) O'Brien.
A previous resident of Maine and Florida, she has been a resident of Wareham since 1994. She enjoyed camping, bingo and visiting Foxwoods.
Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Anne Marie Kay of Jacksonville, FL; her son, Dennis V. Adams, Jr. (USN), Japan; her sister, Kathleen Roy of Wareham; her brother, Kevin Mitchell of Waltham and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, the late Maureen Keylich and two brothers, the late William J. O'Brien and Thomas A. Mitchell.
Her funeral service will be held on Wed., Dec. 30th at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours Tues. from 6 – 9 PM.
