Ida L. Baker, 92, widow of William C. Baker, formerly of 134 Cleveland Ave., died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Garlock Convalescent Home, Hagerstown. She had been in failing health for the past five years and was a guest of the home since April of 1963. Mrs. Baker was born at South Mountain, February 7, 1875, daughter of the late William and Margaret E. Kauffman Butler. Her early life was lived in the South Mountain area. Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Baker lived in McKeesport. Later they made their home in Zullinger and in 1918 moved to Waynesboro. Mr. Baker died in April of 1948. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard H. Greenawalt, Wanesboro; two grandsons; one great grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Brundage, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Ethel Kriner, Waynesboro. Burial will be made in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
