Roy Clifton "Tip" Earlywine, age 64, of 1940 Cypress Street, Paris, Kentucky, died January 15, 2009, after a long illness. He was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky, on March 17, 1944, to the late Audrey Clifton and Josephine Lowe Earlywine. He was a farm laborer.

He is survived by: his wife, Hilda Bell Earlywine; a sister, Faye Earlywine Ring; four brothers, William Earlywine, Johnny Earlywine, Walter Earlywine and Kenny Earlywine; seven step-daughters, Claudia Bussell, Kathy Quevedo, Donna Butler, Kathy Webber, Pam Strausbaugh, Sharon Laytart and Pat Teegarden; five step-sons, Greg Bussell, Timmy Bussell, Ricky Bussell, Robert Bussell, Christopher Bussell, Sonny Miller and Bruce Miller; 43 step-grandchildren; 40 step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Gary Stith officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Chapel Graveyard. Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
