Norma Beck Aultman, 81, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 30, at a local hospital after a short illness.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel on North Davis Drive in Arlington, Robert Colton officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Norma was born Aug. 9, 1928, in Chicago, Ill., and her family moved to Fort Worth in 1931. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1946. Norma married Ronald W. Aultman on Sept. 4, 1946. She enjoyed working at the Apartment Association of Tarrant County for several years, and was active in the Women's Missionary Union of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Norma was a warm, fun-loving, compassionate person who loved her family and many friends. Her beautiful smile and quick wit brought cheer to everyone she met. She loved reading, painting and life in general. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and residents of Mirabella Retirement Center where she lived the last three years.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Ray and Bertha Beck; sister, Dorothy Colton; and former husband, Ronald W. Aultman.
Survivors: Son, Larry Aultman of Fort Worth; daughter and son-in-law, Madeline and Herb Meistrich of San Diego, Calif.; grandson, Jason Meistrich of Seattle, Wash.; and nieces, Colleen and C.J. Colton of Fort Worth.
