Ida was daughter of William Henry Boone of NC and Amelia Ann Guthrie Boone of FL. With her husband, William James Baxley, Sr., Ida reared eleven children and outlived all but three of them.

Grandma taught me how to cook, and how to make my favorite blackberry cobbler. Thanks for spending that quality time with me. I love you Grandma.
