Mrs. Dora Ahlers, step-mother of Mrs. Louis Veit, died at the home of the latter on Koenig street last night. Mrs. Ahlers has been sick only about three weeks, death resulting from tumors with complications of dropsy. She was seventy years of age. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Wm. Stelk, and three step-daughters, Mrs. Louis Veit, Mrs. Seebahm of Annapolis Md., and Miss Marie Ahlers of Hamburg, Germany. She also has a sister who resides in New York. The funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. Veit at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
