Marie Sargent Rees, age 89 died March 4, 2007 in Price, Utah aurrounded by her family. She was born February 23, 1918 in Grass Creek, Utah, to Joseph Andrew and Betsy Bell Sargent. She married Everett LeRoy Rees June 30, 1936 in Coalville,Utah. She preceded in death by Everett on April 10, 1967. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple May 23, 1968 for time and all eternity. She loved to garden and could be seen with her walker and chair weeding her flowerbeds all summer. She also was an expert at sewing and knitting and shared these talents with anyone that needed a hand. Marie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day-Saints. She held many positions over her life in the church. Marie is survived by her children: Janet (Alma) Blonquist, Coalville, Utah; Marion (Robert) White, Yuma AZ; Kristeen (James) Fowler, Overland Park, KS; Evelyn (Kent) Olsen, Carbonville, Utah. Marie is survived by 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also one sister Glenna (Verno) Hunt, Ogden, Utah; and one brother Ralph Sargent, Hoystville, Utah. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents and brothers; Joseph Newell, George, Clarence, Kenneth and one sister Bell Sargent Calderwood.
