Miss Mary Ellen Rothrock, the eldest child of George and Sarah Rothrock, died at the home of her parents, near Atkinson's Mills, on Sabbath last, May 19th, age 37 years, 7 months and 21 days. She was a victim of consumption and suffered much, yet bore it patiently. She was a consistent member of the McVeytown Presbyterian church. The services were held at her late home on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, and were conducted by Rev. D.H. Campbell. The funeral was largely attended. Interment was made at Beaver Dam cemetery.
