DIES AT RESIDENCE
Mrs. Mary Alice Brown, 85, of 1739 north Decatur Road, N. E., died yesterday at the residence after a long illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by H. m. Patterson & Son.
Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Atlanta nearly all her life, having come here from South Carolina. She was the widow of C. (s/b B.) W. Brown, who was formerly in the mercantile business here. she was an active member of the Morningside Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Pattie Wofford and Mrs. C. S. Burgess, of Atlanta, and Mrs. J. E. Tomlin, of Albany; two sons, Kirby A. and Bennie W. Brown and a son-in-law, Frank W. Taylor, all of Atlanta; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
