Shirley A. Bennett
FREELAND, Md. – Shirley Ann Bennett, 58, of New Freedom Road, Freeland, Md., died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday at York Hospital. She was the wife of John H. Bennett.
The service will be private. There will be no viewing. The J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 Second St., New Freedom, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bennett was born June 12, 1936, in Seven Valleys. She was the daughter of the late Ralph A. and Florence E. (Bupp) Warner.
She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Steltz, Glen Rock RD 3, and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Mrs. Bennett also is survived by three daughters, Diane E. Miller of Baltimore, and Gail W. Bennett and Joan E. Bennett, both of Freeland; and a sister, Marie Warner of Dallastown.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard F. Pulling.
