Mr. Ronald "Ron" English, DeSoto, passed away on November 5, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 7 days.
Born September 29, 1942 in St. Louis; he was the son of the late Lester Paul and Angela (Valendy) English, Sr.
Mr. English is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Judith Anne 'Judy'(Hummel) English of DeSoto.
Mr. English is also survived by a son, Ronald David (Angela 'Angie')English of Hillsboro; three daughters: Rebecca Lynn Curtis of Bonne Terre, MO, Robin Renae (Stacy) Medley of DeSoto, Ronda Carol (Joe) Carque of Sedgewickville, Missouri; two brothers: Eugene English of Laveen, Arizona, Larry (Sandy) English, Auxvasse, Missouri; two sisters: Joyce Lee Burris of Festus, and Linda Kay Swayze, St. Louis; mother-in-law Jacquelyn Hummel of St. Louis and a sister-in-law, Janice Morrissey of St. Louis; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. English was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Carol (Merriman) English; two brothers: Lester Paul English, Jr. and Frank English; and a brother-in-law, Jack Burris.
Ronald was a retired painter for the Chrysler Corporation.
Father Joe Womack will be officiating the funeral ceremony on Saturday.
