Nadenna J. Denney born June 3, 1925 passed away in her home after a long illness on December 21, 2009.
Nadenna was preceded in death by her husband Earl B. Denney, parents Arthur and Pearl McMurry, sisters Maxine Boehm, Fern Lugert, Lois Copeland, Marie Riddle, Delores Swearengin, brother Braymond McMurry, sisters-in-law, Estelee Hamilton and Gladys Perkins.
Survivors are her two daughters Judith Davidson and Cheryl (Sherry Kensinger) Mack, brothers-in-law, Elvis Denney and Bob Denney. Grandchildren Ty Kensinger, Denise Spurgeon, Jeff Davidson, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She loved her family, Church and community and lived and worked within 10 miles of her birthplace for 84 years. The family wishes to thank all her family, Church, Hospice and especially her faithful caretaker Katrina Hammers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the West Finley Baptist Church South of Fordland on Olga Road. Burial will be in the West Finley Cemetery under direction of the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home, Rogersville.
