MILES "NICK" BOONE, 86, a former New Hope resident, died Friday, Dec. 7, 1990, at Colonial House Nursing Home. He was a retired employee of Sam Nally Co. and Jelico Stone Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Stella Davis; five sons, Harold Boone of New Haven, Marvin Boone of Fredericktown, Charles Boone of Fern Creek, and Nick Boone Jr. and Stephen Boone of Louisville; four daughters, Mrs. Jack (Rose) Goodin of Lexington, Mrs. Murray (Shirley) Rosen of Seminole, Fla., and Mrs. Michael (Jeanette) Quigley and Mrs. James (Cecilia) Hurst, both of Boston, Mass.; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sister Rose Ann, OSU, Owensboro. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope, with interment in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Goodin, John Boone, Mike Boone, Lambert Boone, Bernard Boone and Gary Boone. Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
