Anna Emma (Weybright) Rice

Usually called Emma, following the old custom among the Pennsylvania Germans to give their children two first names, with the second one being the one that was used.

Born in Randolph Township, Montgomery County, Ohio.
Married Cornelius "Neal" Rice on November 15, 1873, in Darke County, Ohio.

Four children (including one set of twins who died in infancy) were born of their marriage:

1. Calvin Rice, August 28, 1875, died in infancy

2. Frank Rice, August 28, 1875, died in infancy

3. Viola Margaret "Maggie'' or "Olie" Rice, born Feb 16, 1878. Died 1951. Married Harvey Ratliff on June 23, 1894. They had 9 children, including 2 sets of twins.

4. Stella Rice, born Sept 30, 1880, died April 24, 1972. Married William Edward Durr, M.D. on December 27, 1904. They had one son and one daughter.
