Elizabeth, daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Draleau) Paul, was born in Lancaster on June 17, 1933 and lived in Winchendon most of her life. Her beloved husband, Christopher C. Prouty, died in 2000.
Elizabeth worked as a bagger at Market Basket in Rindge and enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by four sons; Mark A. Prouty of Rutland, Vermont, David C. Prouty and his wife Amy of Winchendon, Terry R. Prouty and his wife Sandy of Rindge and Dennis R. Prouty of Winchendon, four daughters; Donna L. Prouty of Gardner, Anna M. Prouty of Winchendon, Loretta M. Prouty of Manchester, New Hampshire and Betty "Aunt Boo" L. Chase of Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, five brothers; George Paul and his wife "Pinky" of Templeton, Harold Paul and his wife Priscilla of Winchendon, Dennis Paul and his wife Beverly of Winchendon, Maurice "Mickey" Paul of Winchendon and Leo Paul and his wife Sally of Winchendon, two sisters; Dorothy "Dot" Norris of Gardner and Mary Lawrence and her husband Tom of Townsend, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters; Freddy, Ernie, Larry, Jerry, Blanche, Evelyn and Georgette.
