Adan Cuevas Jr., 32, a lifelong Deming resident passed away on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in Mexico.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Baca's Funeral Chapel and the prayer vigil will be there that at 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church and the concluding service and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Adan was born May 3, 1977, to Margarita Marquez and Adan Cuevas in Deming. He attended the public schools and was a member of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, Adan and Margarita Cuevas, of Deming; three sons, Damian and Javier Cuevas, of Deming and Adan Cuevas III, of Albuquerque; daughters, Bianka Cuevas, of Deming and Gissel Cuevas, of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Miguel Cuevas, of Deming; two sisters, Mayra Cuevas and Iran Vela, of Deming.
Pallbearers will be Juan Marquez, Juan Marquez Jr., Miguel Cuevas, Juventino Cuevas, Jose Carbajal and Valentin Madrid.
