Winnie Pruitt Kees Curby passed away May 24, 2005 at Quality Care of Waco. She was born Sept 4,1911 in Comanche County, Texas to W. P. and Emily (Vincent) Pruitt. She married Clyde Perry Kees in 1929. Mr. Kees preceded her in death in 1972. She married Loyd Curby in 1973. Loyd preceded her in death in 1992. Winnie is survived by her son, Clyde Pruitt Kees and his wife, Sandra of Waco; one grandson, Dale Kees and wife Yvonne of Lafayette, LA; one granddaughter, Carol Scott and husband Robert of Sachse, TX;4 great grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren, James and Rebekah and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Perry Kees and Loyd Curby; brothers, Grady Pruitt and Haskell Pruitt; sisters, Ula Pruitt, Annie Simms,Fannie Whitfield, Mamie Ward and Lillie Lightsey. Graveside services were at the Bethel Cemetery.
