Brent Smith, Jr. Brent Smith, Jr. QUINCY Brent Smith, Jr., 34, of Quincy, died suddenly December 5, 2009. Beloved husband of Tania Ignagni-Smith of Quincy. Devoted father of Marcus Cesare Smith of Quincy and Elisabeth Smith-Bastien of Canada. Son of Ruth and Janet (Crosby) Smith-Johnson of Stoughton and the late Brent Smith, Sr. Brother of Brenita Smith of Stoughton and Nikkai Smith of Dorchester. Grandson of Mae Pearl Crosby of Dorchester and the late Carter Crosby. Son-in-law of Cesare and Wanda Ignagni of Bridgewater. Special uncle to Brenden and Evan Taylor of Stoughton. Brother-in-law to Daniela, Alisia, Marco and Melissa Ignagni. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brent was a loving husband, devoted father, and loyal uncle, son, brother and friend. He had a love for football and a passion for coaching that was obvious to everyone who knew him. He made a difference in many lives through his work. No matter where he went, he was often recognized, even though he couldn't always recall a name. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, entertaining at his home and going to a movie every now and then. His priority was always taking care of his family. Whether it was a ride somewhere, moving, or just hanging out, Brent always made himself available. He had a smile that lit up the room and a warm personality that attracted many. Brent will be dearly missed. He touched the lives of all those who knew him.
