Evelyn Freeman, 70, a resident of Brunswick, died Friday 12/11/09 at her residence in Brunswick.
Mrs. Freeman was born April 25, 1939 in Wheeler County, Ga., and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1970. She was a graduate of Wheeler County High School, Class of 1957 and a graduate of Mercer School of Nursing in 1959. She was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force serving as a Captain.
She was a former employee with the Southeast Georgia Health System and was employed presently employed with Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Brunswick. She was a member of the Glyndale Baptist Church of Brunswick.
She was predeceased by her parents, Nealy Haston and Addie Irene Clark and a brother, Nealy Haston Clark, Jr.
Survivors are her two sons, Monte Freeman of Tucker, Ga. And Eric Freeman and his wife, Kelli of Brunswick, a brother, Robert Clark of Alamo, Ga., her former Husband, Bobby Freeman of Brunswick and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday 12/15/09 from the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Alamo Memorial Cemetery in Alamo, Ga. at 2:30 Tuesday.
The family request in lieu of flowers contributions to the Donor's choice. The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Monday 12/14/09.
