Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Ave. in Fort Worth. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, with the family receiving friends 4 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
She was a longtime member of Birdville Baptist Church and in earlier years she was a dedicated church nursery worker. She also enjoyed gardening and working on the family farm with her late husband, Lee Carr. As a young woman during World War II, she worked at Consolidated Aircraft.
Survivors: Sons, Gerald Lee Carr of Haltom City, Kimm Carr and wife, Connie, of Canton, Ohio, Lance Carr and wife, Susan, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Gregg and Melinda Carr, Rebecca and Jason Moore, Bethany and John Teilhet, Kathryn Carr; great-grandchildren, Emma Teilhet, Eli Teilhet, Amelia Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
