94, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Grand Haven Nursing Home, in Cynthiana.
He was born in Bracken County, Kentucky, November 27, 1915, to the late Doug and Edna Workman Hughes.
Mr. Hughes was a retired Kentucky Utilities Employee, member of the Cynthiana Chrisitan Church, Cynthiana
Elks Lodge #438 and the Cynthiana Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice W. "Bebe" Hughes. one brother, Glynwood Hughes, Oregan, and a special
friend, J. Frank Marsh.
Services will be conducted 1:30 P.M. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home,
by Dr. Larry W. Bishop and Dr. Timothy Teater, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after
10:30 A.M. Monday.
Elks Memorial Services will be conducted graveside at Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cynthiana Christian Church Building Fund or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
