Evelyn was the daughter of Elmer H. and Edna (Snow) Parker. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1932. She went on to attend college in Omaha, Nebraska.
She married Aug. 26, 1949 to Lenard Bohlken in Pawnee City, Nebraska.
In 1943, she became a Licensed Practice Nurse, and began a 20 year career at the Auburn Hospital, retiring in 1963. After that she did fill-in work at the hospital and worked at the clinic until 1976.
Nadine was baptized in the Auburn Christian Church but became amember of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. She lived in her home til Sept. 8, 2009 when she became a resident of the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn. It was there she passed away at the age of 94 years, 11 months and 6 days.
Nadine was preceded in death by an infant sister and half-brother, Harold Parker.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, including Harold "Pete" and wife Joanie Parker, Dan Parker, great-niece and -nephers, including Jeff and Carolynne Parker, Jill and Ryan Scanlon, Jennifer and fiance Jordan Petersen and Allie and Joey Vaughn; great great nieces and nephews; special frends Kevin and Jackie Wheeler.
Memorial services were held Oct.11, 2009 at Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn, Nebraska. Burial of ashes was in Bedford Cemetery near Howe, NE.
