Two years ago she became an invalid and has since suffered much but has always been brave and patient and tried to make all around her happy.

She became a Christian in her younger days and has shown by her life that she enjoyed her religion and was ready to go when her Lord called her. She was a good mother and a kind friend and will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services were conducted in Hastings Monday morning and interment was made Monday forenoon in Plainview cemetery (sic), Rev. Henry F. Martens of the Methodist Episcopal church (sic) of Bladen officiating at the grave.
