Mrs. Evelyn Neetta Chapin, 79, died at her home November 28 at 10 p.m. after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Tueday at 3 p..m. from the Dunsford Chapel with burial in Elmwood cemetary. Rev. Stanley A. Andersen, pastor of the Baptist church, will be in charge.
Mrs. Chapin was born June 19, 1874, the daughter of Nancy and David Reeder, in Lacon, Ill. She was married to William Harvey Chapin September 9, 1895 at Oberlin. His death occurred June 30, 1949.
Surviving children are Mrs. H. H. Robinson and Edna Chapin of Augusta; Ralph H. Chapin of Tulsa, Okla.; and Ray G. Chapin of Kansas City, Mo. There are also five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The grandchildren are Mrs. F. J. Frost, El Paso, Tex.; Buel Robinson, El Dorado; Stanley Robinson, Augusta; Robert Chapin, Hawaii and Don Chapin, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.
Before moving to Augusta in 1934 Mrs. Chapin resided in Westphalia. She was a member of the Baptist church.
