He was married to Jean Carolyn, October 17, 1942, in Bandon, Oregon. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He was a supervisor in a pulp mill and had lived in this community for six months. He was a member of the Coos Bay Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Springfield; one son, Rick Kelley of Eugene; two brothers; John Kelley of Eugene and George Kelley of Scappoose, Oregon, one sister, Helen dePonzi of San Jose, California; two grandchildren; Angela Jean Kelley and Fredrick M Kelley III.
