Opal Faye Eisenman, daughter of Roy and Rena Carpenter Jenkins, was born April 18, 1914, at Chester, Nebraska, and died March 8, 1997, at the Belleville Health Care Center, at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 20 days.

She graduated from Chester High School, Chester, Nebraska.

She was a homemaker and a long time resident of the Munden and Belleville area.

She was united in marriage to Melvin Eisenman and to this union four children were born.

She was a member of the Wesleyan Church, Belleville, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

She is survived by two sons, Ernest Eisenman of Moore, Texas; James Eisenman of Jamestown, Kansas; two daughters, Ruth Ann Jones of Houston, Texas; Mary Lou Patterson of Pearsall, Texas; a sister, Vivian Cloyd of Paris, California; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 1997, at the Wesleyan Church, Belleville, Kansas, with Rev. Clark Struebing officiating.

Burial was made in Chester Cemetery, Chester, Nebraska.
