Binion Vinson Beck, 80, of Gordon, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009. Son of the late Henry and Olga Beck, he was a native of Baldwin County, but had resided in Gordon for the past few years. Preceded in death by son, Richard Allen Beck, he was a Staff Sergeant and veteran of the United States Air Force and ministered for Walk Through the Bible Ministries. Mr. Beck was a member of the East Boulevard Baptist Church in Macon.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Gwen Moon Beck of Gordon, his daughter, Susan (Kenny) Barker of Harrison, step-sons, David (Kelly) Emig of Elko, Dan (Nora) Emig of Monument, Colorado, daughter-in-law, Diane Beck of Macon, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
