William Blacker died at his home in Monticello on Sunday afternoon, June 24, 1906 after an illness of many months. The funeral was held Monday afternoon. He was a veteran of the Civil War, but not a member of the G.A.R.
He is survived by a widow, one son, Fred; and a daughter, Mrs. Maude Bush; another daughter Bertha died several years ago.
