Lester R. "Bud" Adams, 73, of 700 Berkley St., Plymouth, died at 11:50 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth Campus. Bud had been a LaPaz area resident most of his life.

Born on January 4, 1933 in Walkerton, Bud was the son of Lester and Mary Olive Thomas Adams. He was a 1951 graduate of LaPaz High School.

Bud had worked as a Chef in various restaurants in the area.

He enjoyed baseball, and when he was young, he had been a scout for Major League Teams. In the 1960's, Bud had coached American Legion Baseball in South Bend and Niles. He was also an avid IU fan.

Bud is survived by two sons: Jim (Debra) Adams and Robert Adams, both of Plymouth, six grandchildren, two brothers: Lon Adams of Granbury, TX and Tom Adams of South Bend, and two sisters: Mary Adams and Irma Rankert, both of Kokomo.

There will be no visitation. Memorial services will take place at a later date.

Internment will be in Bremen Cemetery, Bremen.
