Johnnie M. Benefield of Enterprise, AL passed away, Monday, December 7, 2009 at her home following a long illness. She was 91.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. Mrs. Benefield will be taken to the church one hour before funeral time.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM.
Mrs. Benefield was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Daniel P. Benefield.
Survivors include a daughter, Syble Powers of Enterprise, AL; a son Charles Benefield, Gulfport, MS; sister, Lois Alderman, Dothan,AL; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
