Rites Wednesday For Mrs. Harrison, Peoria 59 Years
Funeral services for Mrs. Sophia R. Harrison, 86, of 1601 North Adams street, wife of James R. Harrison and a Peoria resident for 59 years, who died at 1:55 a. m. Monday at Methodist hospital where she had been a patient one week, will be at 3:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Cumerford-Endsley memorial home.
The Rev. Angus C. Hull of First Baptist church will officiate and burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the memorial home this evening.
Mr. Harrison was born near Princeville Aug. 15, 1860, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth W. Bush. She married Mr. Harrison at Princeville 69 years ago. She was a member of the Peoria Rebekah lodge No. 113.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Miss Lucy Harrison of Peoria; two sons, Oliver Harrison also of Peoria, and Charles Harrison of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Ella Bouton of Princeville; one brother Charles Bush of Omega, Canada; one granddaughter, Mrs. J. W. Stacy of Indianapolis; one grandson, Richard Harrison of Portland, Ore.; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
