INGRAM – Linda Carol Grimes Cox, 48, of Ingram, Texas, died Thursday, Dec. 3 at 11:30 a.m., in John Peter Smith Hospital in Kerrville, Texas.Service is 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at Indian Creek Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, with interment at Stages Prairie Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Pallbearers are Kevin Chipman, Bob Cox, Colby Cox, Blake Hart, Michael Kidman, Ricky Robins and James Tuggle. Visitation was 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Kerrville Funeral Home in Kerrville.She was born Aug. 4, 1961, to Glenda Grimes Jones and the late Cullen Grimes Sr. Linda was raised in Mineral Wells and graduated from Mineral Wells High School. On March 12, 1981, she married her lifelong partner, Bill Cox. Linda was a resident of Ingram since 2000, where she and her family own and operate a propane business.Survivors included her husband, Bill Cox, and their son, Jacob, 10 of Ingram; married son, Duston and Vanessa Cox with grandchild, Braiden, of Harper, Texas; married daughter, Mindy and Kevin Chipman, with grandchild, Riley, of Kerrville, Texas; married brother, Cullen Jr. "Bubba" and Rada Grimes, of Mineral Wells; mother, Glenda and Darrell Jones, of Mineral Wells; Carol and Bobbie Cox, Bob Cox and Kay Cox Nesky of Weatherford, Texas; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Cullen Grimes Sr.; grandparents, Floyd and Hazel Tuggle, Bill and Pauline Dempsey, and P.K. and Alma Masterson Cox.In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at First Financial Bank to help pay for the funeral and medical bills under Linda Cox.
