Palmer Pillans (3 NOV 1876-MAR 1976), son of Mobile mayor and Alabama legislator Harry Pillans, a co-author of the 1901 Alabama State Constitution,
married April 3, 1902, Emmie D. Price (Mobile Marriage Book 37, p. 93), daughter of Maj. Thomas Henry Price (29 May 1829 - 24 Feb 1883) and Martha Elizabeth (Byrd) Price (b. 4 May 1841).
They had one child:
Martha Torrey Pillans who married 06/06/1937 to Clarkson M. Hamilton (Mobile Marriage book 64, p. 249) Lived in the Auld-Price-Pillans home (c1830) at 1407 Government Street, Mobile, AL, said to be the oldest house remaining on Government Street and the oldest in the city west of Broad Street. It was built by Alexander Auld circa 1830 (some references say 1830-40) and purchased by Thomas H. Price in 1874. Mobile Historic Development Commission's date of construction says c1840.

Maj. Thos. H. Price Died in Texas
"Maj. Thos. H. Price, a prominent lawyer of Mobile, died at Bandera, Texas, on the 24th ult. Maj. Price represented Mobile County in the Alabama Legislature for several terms since the war, and was one of the ablest lawyers in the State."
