Henry W. Bunch and his wife Bertha started to Denver, Colorado, in a covered wagon about 1910. The first day they got to a school house East of Hamilton, Missouri, which was about 30 miles. Here they became discouraged with slow transportation and called for relatives to come get the wagon and team and they finished the journey by train.

Henry W. Bunch was employed in Denver driving a team hitched to a scraper. He helped to build a large building in Denver.
