It has just been reported that J. M. (Jim) Bolinger of Rte. 5, residing on Wharton Creek, died at his home early this morning. Mr. Bolinger had not been seriously ill and attended the Paralee Boman funeral services yesterday, and this death came as a shock to his family and many friends.

Funeral services for J. M. (Jim) Bolinger, 75, were held last Saturday, Dec. 16, at Lower Wharton at 2 p.m. with Rev. Vivan Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Wharton cemetery with arrangements by Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jess, Clint and Fredda Bolinger, Roy Jones, Osborn Taylor and Earl Bowman.
Mr. Bolinger passed away at his home on Route 2, Huntsville, on Thursday, Dec. 14. He had been in failing health for about three years. His death was due to heart attack.
He was born February 14, 1875, the son of Frederick Bolinger and Rebecca Walker-Bolinger. He was a lifelong resident of the county and had been a member of the Baptist Church for 30 years.
Survivors are his wife, Josie Jones Bolinger of Route 2; a son Ewen Bolinger of Route 2; two daughters, Mrs. Jewel Walden of Route 2, and Gladys Dailey of Loy; two brothers, Harvey Bolinger and Randy Bolinger, both of Huntsville. One brother, Sam Bolinger, and a sister, Mrs. Ada Jones, preceded him in death.
