Mary (Polly) Case McQueary, my second great grandmother was born 23 Jun 1795 in Wilkes County, NC and died 13 Dec 1865 in Henry, Indiana. The 1860 census finds Mary as a widow living with her son Leander in Boone County, IN, and it's possible she died there, but no official document. She was the daughter of Revolutionary War Soldier, Isaiah Case (1759-1859). Mary and husband Morgan McQueary were parents to seven known children: William Wright Martin McQueary (1816-1868), Hannah Case McQueary (1822-1891), Lucy McQueary – my great grandmother (1828-1908), Leander McQueary (1832-1875), Lavina McQueary (1834-1860, Ellen McQueary (1837-1860) and Wilson McQueary (1841-1915).
