Donald A. Burright, 75, of Hot Springs Village, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born September 28, 1934 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Louie and Gladys "Marie" (Veach) Burright. Donald served in the U.S. Army and was a retired Compliance Officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was an active member of the Hot Springs Village Woodworkers and Woodturners Clubs and also the Hot Springs Village Players.

Preceding him in death are his parents, a son, Steven Burright, and a son-in-law, Jerr Berdan.

Donald is survived by his wife, Gail Burright of Hot Springs Village; one son: Eric Burright and wife Michelle of Eagan, Minnesota; two daughters: Judee Chilson and husband Roger of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Jayna Berdan of Loretto, Minnesota; one brother, George "Doug" Burright and wife Virgene of Barling, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Katie Warne and husband Matt, Haley Chilson, Allyson, Korissa, and Allissa Berdan, Isaac, Nicholas, and Jack Burright.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2009 at Faith Lutheran Church, Hot Springs Village, with service following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Carnahan officiating.

Interment was held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 191 Andorra Drive, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, 71909.
