Violet M. Chapel, 75, died Monday, Oct. 30th, at the Walnut Whitney Hospital in Carmichael, Calif. She was born Jan. 12th, 1903, the daughter of Samuel and Rosamy Page Denman. She married Clyde Anderson but was later divorced and married Myron Chapel, Oct. 17th, 1926, at Stockton. He died Jan. 24th, 1961. She lived in Stockton until moving to California in 1971. She is survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at Smith Memorial Chapel, Stockton, with the Rev. Ralph Jones officiating. Burial was in Woodston Cemetery.
