Russell G. Thomas, 48, died at his home in St. Johns, in the presence of his family, Jan. 26, 2005.
Russ, was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Feb. 4, 1956. He made Arizona his home for the past 40 years. He was a welder by trade, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in the White Mountains.
His survivors include his son, Russell George Thomas, Jr., St. Johns; daughters Taryn Thomas, St. Johns and Eryn June (Brad) Bloomfield, New Mexico; brothers, Jesse James Thomas, Sr., St. Johns; sisters, Ana Elizabeth Fleming, Oregon; Beverly Jean Law and Darlene Sue Andrews, Phoenix; six grandchildren, Angel, Brandon, Alissa, Kaylee, Christian and Keirston.
Preceding him in death is his son Dink Russell Thomas.
Graveside services were held at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery, Monday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
