Wife of Charles Boone; Daughter of Charley Smith.

Mrs Nancy E. Boone died at 10:39 o'clock Friday night at the family residence, 1509 North Morgan street. Her age was fifty-nine years, two months and ten days. She was a member of the First Baptist church and had many friends in Decatur. Mrs Boone was born in Little Rock, Ark., July 4, 1861. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. O. Greer, of Decatur and a foster-son, H. L. LeGrand, also of Decatur. She also leaves two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Sarah Backen of Le Roy, Ill., Mrs. Eliza McGill of Kansas City, Mo., Frank Smith of Vandalia, Harvey Smith of Le Roy and John Smith of Lovington. The body was removed to the Monson & Wilcox undertaking establishment and prepared for burial and will remain there until Sunday morning. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. Greer, 894 West North street. Interment will be in the Brush College cemetery.
