A Mayflower descendant of at least six via father's blood line.

h/o Mary W Davis, Richard's cousin.

Birth: in Lincoln, now Knox county, Maine.

Older brother to Capt George DAVIS, lived on Harbor Island, south of Davis Point, in Muscongus Bay where niece Virginia LaFayette DAVIS loved to come visit and play with his daughters. Later, in the 1920 & 30's, Virginia's son Carl Raymond GRAY would boat from his summer home, Gray Rocks (on market 2009 with 3 of its 34 acres), at 250 Stoney Point road at Pleasant Point with a southerly view of The George's, to the then vacant Harbor Island for enjoyment and lobster cook-outs.

Census: 1850, age 60 Harbor Island, Lincoln, now Knox county, Maine with wife, his mother & five children.

Death: in Cushing, Knox, formerly Lincoln county, Maine.
