Ruby Knowlton Dickhans, nee Barnett, 82, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Cahokia, Ill., born Friday, June 24, 1927, in Alicia, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Dickhans was a retired manager for Jackman Fabrics and cared for others for many years. She was a member of Life Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tiffney Knowlton; second husband, Arthur J. Dickhans; parents, Edgar and Linnie, nee Goodman, Barnett; sisters, Muriel Hardcastle, Mildred Maples, and Lavada DeRoe; and brother, Bill Barnett.
Surviving are her children, Linnie (Phillip) Tochtrop of Columbia, Ill., Tiffney (Wanda) Knowlton Jr. of Bourbon, Mo., Connie Knowlton of Swansea, Ill., Roger (Jenny) Dickhans of Sewickley, Pa., and Joan (Rick) Emas of Des Peres, Mo.; brother, Sherman Barnett of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Snapper, Gina, Tameshia, Lesia, Katie, Nicholas, Billy, Jimmy, Julie, and Christy; and 11 great-grandchildren.
