Abraham Fogel, farmer and Elizabeth, his wife, of Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA sold 6 acres and 5 perches in Lower Nazareth Township to John Balliet, farmer, of the same place (no wife listed), for $980 on April 10, 1812. Deed recorded June 13, 1823.

Leonard Fogel and Margaret, his wife, of Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA sold 3 acres and 1 perch in Lower Nazareth Township to John Balliet, blacksmith, of the same place (no wife listed), for $410 on April 17, 1813. Deed recorded June 13, 1823.

John Balliet, blacksmith and his wife, Anna Maria, of Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA, sold 9 acres and 6 perches in Lower Nazareth to John Bolgert, of the same place for $1,300 on April 1, 1830. Recorded April 5, 1830

On November 19, 1841, Michael Huber petitioned the Orphans Court in Northampton County seeking an accounting of the estate of Jacob Balliet, Sr. deceased, from John Balliet, who had moved to Union County, PA and may not be in "propsperous circumstances". The petition states that John Balliet has neglected and refused to render a full account of the estate and there is a concern John Balliet may be insolvent and be liable for a large amount of money. Petition was served on John Balliet in Union County, PA on January 8, 1842.

John Balliet, 64, was last listed in the 1850 census living in Lewis Township, Northumberland County, PA with his wife Sarah, 42, and their five children - Martin, 11, Henry, 9, William, 7, A. Jackson, 4 and Sarah, 2. There was also a Stephen Balliet, 77, listed as living with them. No further census records found, but the family may have moved to Lockport, Niagara County, New York.

John Balliet, Town of Lockport, County of Niagara, New York, assigned his right to the estate of his mother Elizabeth Barbara Balliet of Turbot Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania to John Balliet of Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania on May 15, 1854. Deed recorded June 27, 1859.

John Balliet, Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania, by virtue of rights assigned by John Balliet, Town of Lockport, County of Niagara, New York, was paid $160 by John Dentler, on July 7, 1856. Deed recorded June 27, 1859.
