MR. EDMONDSON FORT RENTON DIES IN GREAT FALLS Kem Edmondson, well known resident of this city for the past two years, and of the Highwood section for a number of years, passed away at the Deaconess hospital in Great Falls on last Thursday, May 11th, following an illness of several weeks. The news of his passing will bring sadness to a large circle of friends, as he was held in the highest esteem by all. Kem Edmondson was born in Damascus, Virginia. on September 25th, 1877.
He was united in marriage to Lydia Mahuldah Mountain in 1898, and to this union two daughters, Mrs. Howard Allen, of Highwood, and Mrs. Ross J. Allen, of Great Falls, were born. He came west in 1901 and settled near Creston, Washington, where he resided until 1930 when he came to Montana.
Mrs. Edmonson died in 1930. He was married to Mrs. Florabelle Simmons in 1932, who has nursed him constantly during his last illness. His death was due to heart trouble.
After coming to Montana they lived in the Highwood section until two years ago when they moved to this city. He united with the Christian church in Creston, Washington, in 1916, and has been a true and faithful member since that time. He has been a member of the local church since coming to Montana, and has acted as board member and deacon during his membership. He is survived by his wife and two mentioned above; and by one sister, Mrs. W. R. Rutherford, at Bristol, Tennessee, and by two brothers in Virginia; also by four grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Croxford mortuary in Great Falls on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and conducted by the Rev. Walter H. Sandy, state evangelist.
Burial was made in Highland cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.

Not certain whether was son of Martha or Milly. Probably Milly though. He was born between the two marriages. He was the younger brother of my Great Grandfather Rev. Thomas F. Edmondson.
