Mrs. Mathews, who was born in Yakima, died Wednesday She graduated from Shadle Park High School and Eastern Washington University.
Mrs. Mathews most recently worked as a project coordinator for People to People.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas; a son, Russell Berg of Spokane; a daughter, Tandy Hoffman of Wenatchee; three stepsons, Robert Mathews of San Diego, and Kirk and Jeffery Mathews, both of Seattle; a stepdaughter, Kimberlee Long of Skagway, Alaska; a brother, Duane Dubois of Spokane; and four grandchildren.
