Erfurth, Frederick W: (TS*: 1857-1918; father); h/o Christine Buehler; "While strolling around in the yard at the home of relatives west of Fort Wright, with whom he had been visiting for two weeks, Fred Erfurth, age 61, a pioneer of the Miles region, Tuesday night was suddenly stricken with internal hemorrhage and died in a few minutes. Mr Erfurth, had been suffering with a complicated stomach and intestinal trouble for several years, and had consulted many specialists in different parts of the country. Recently he came to Spokane to be treated, and it was thought that he was getting better. He is survived by three sons, all of whom are under 20. They were notified by long distance telephone of their father's death, and immediately started for Spokane in an automobile.—Spokesman Review."
