Mrs. Maggie Tull Prentice died yesterday at Wilmore after a brief illness. A native of Fayette County, she was the late Rev. Jesse Tull and Mrs. Lize Dedman Tull, and was a member of the Cedar Top Baptist Church, Wilmore. Survivors incled five daughters, Mrs. Queen V Johnson, Lexington; Mrs. Bernice Gates, Keene, Mrs. Sarah Baker, Winchester; Mrs. Virginia Baker, Nicholasville; and Mrs. Bettye Wheat, Lexington; five sons, Thomas, Walter and Samuel Prentice of Wilmore; Augustus Prentice, Nicholasville, and W.B. Prentice, Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Adams, Lexington, and Mrs. Flordia Stevenson, Wilmore; three brothers Jessie Tull, Richmond; Mekinley Tull, Wilmore, and Nathaniel Tull, Cincinnati, 58 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cedar Top Baptist Church by the Rev. C. T. Smith. Burial will be in the Prentice family lot, Wilmore. The body will be taken Saturday from the Claughton – Brown Funeral Home to the Scott Street home, Wilmore.
