Charles E Connolly was a Corporal in the Marines during the Korean War. He was living in Phoenix, AZ at the time.

The Connolly parents, Cleatus and Lela Mae Connolly's oldest son Cleatus, Jr. was KIA on 16 July, 1944, above Normandy in the Battle of St. LO.

Chuck was exempt from going overseas. He was sent to Bridgeport, CA. and trained the Marines that were going over to Korea how to survive in the cold weather there. Chuck returned and moved to Yuma, AZ where he met and married (Helen) "Pat" Patricia McCarthy, they have a son Chuck, Jr. and daughter Anna Connolly.

Chuck had a Chevron Gas Station, with full service that he ran with his wife Pat his entire career. Their daughter Anna married Rick Ban and they had 2 children, a son and a daughter. Chuck passed away in Yuma, AZ.
